Caught up with commuter on Elmhurst falts, was gone by 58th street. Nice bike handling around the cones on 1st ave. beat the beefcake trainer on the fixie, never take the sidewalk. Crossed over on 51st street, nichts so gute, fellow cyclist riding in her black ballet slippers.

Still lots of streets north of 108th with rough surface. Aubergine Cafe, Knish Nosh and Lemon Ice King now bike friendly businesses!

No crazy SUV, car service or other motor vehicle. Not even an electric bike to rise my blood pressure. Although I think one bus on Conorona ave. was itching for a fight with its aggressive honking. Service road in front of McDs a mess in Elmhurst. Gas up a good 6 cents since last I checked. Lovely three blocks on Queens Plaza North too bad the maple trees they planted first are already dead! Lots of fire engines getting on the bridge.

Coming off the bridge I heard a No Brake Wonder [NBW] coming up behind me fast. The ride around is getting worst to 2nd ave. Still have to come up with a name of a person who rides with his/her helmet hooked to their handlebars.

Two HUGE potholes: 63rd road and 108th street + 45th Ave. and Queens Blvd. Old Trek starting to slip in the low gears, no standing on the pedals.

The Ninja Stars planter removed on Queens Plaza, more plants planting, maple trees almost dead. confusing instructions on the foot of the bridge, different subcontractors, different instructions...
